About the role: Our Brisbane Assurance & Advisory team is experiencing growth while maintaining our culture and reasonable working hours. We are seeking talented Audit Seniors, or those ready to take the next step, to join our team on a permanent basis and contribute to our success story. As an Auditor at RSM, you will work with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders including listed, private, not-for-profit and government clients, managing a portfolio through planning, delivering and reporting on audit requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings for significant and complex areas
  • Identify and address technical accounting and audit issues
  • Review financial statements to ensure compliance with Accounting Standards and prepare reports and opinions for management
  • Conduct multiple audit engagements simultaneously with engagement team members
  • Assist with management and coordination of the audit team, including training, mentoring and methodology compliance
About you
  • 2+ years' experience
  • Experience managing a variety of jobs and supervising team members
  • Exceptional communication and people skills
  • CA qualified or near qualified
  • Passionate about contributing to a great team culture and serving clients
  • Working knowledge of Australian (or International) Auditing Standards and Australian Corporations Act
  • Strong problem-solving and inquisitive mindset
  • Commitment to providing first-class service in response to client needs
  • Demonstrates sound problem solving and decision-making abilities
