We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team for an immediate 6-month contract. This role offers flexible full-time or part-time options, providing an excellent opportunity to build on your experience and gain exposure to complex offshore projects.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for performing structural engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle (Concept, FEED, detailed design) to produce fit-for-purpose solutions.
Key Requirements:
- Suitably qualified in Structural/Civil Engineering from a recognized institution, with at least 5+ years of relevant design engineering experience within the Oil & Gas production and/or processing industries in Australia.
- Experience in offshore site environments and site surveying/scoping.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Experience with relevant software packages (e.g., SACS, StaadPro).
- Knowledge of API, AISC, and ISO design codes.
Additional Desirable Qualities:
- Prior experience with offshore brownfield EPCM and/or FPSO projects.
