About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to join our team at BAE Systems Australia.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide Defence Security advice, education, and support to all Business Operations within BAE Systems Australia.
  • Implement security measures for the protection of defence security classified information and sensitive commercial information.
  • Manage an efficient, effective, and timely security service to our customers.
  • Liaise with Defence Security Authorities and ensure employees and contractors are security compliant.
  • Maintain site and business security compliance.
  • Respond to and maintain records of security incidents.
  • Write and implement security procedures and maintain site security in accordance with DSPF and BAE Systems UK Corporate Security.

Requirements:

  • Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 Defence Security Clearance.
  • Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy team environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role and strong experience in Microsoft Office packages.
