About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our team in Brisbane. As a leader in software development, you'll be responsible for overseeing the design, development, testing, and integration of software for our MQ-28 Mission Segment software. Your expertise will be crucial in driving our software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineering, hardware engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of software components.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Participate in Agile Planning Events and day-to-day oversight and execution of the SCRUM teams.
  • Oversee the Software Development activities in accordance with the Boeing EMS and Approved program plans.
  • Actively engage with your team and support them on their career journey, identifying progression and development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communicator who can engage a diverse team and stakeholder group.
  • Experience in leading and project managing Software Engineering or Information Technology teams.
  • Familiar with Agile Software Development Practices and SCRUM Master role.
  • Experience with security governance, compliance, and risk or working in classified environments and with security-controlled material.
  • Personable and dedicated to the growth, development, and success of your team.
