About This Role:

The Software Engineering Manager is a key leadership position that oversees the development of software and firmware solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of software and firmware engineers, providing guidance and direction to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Analyze and understand the organization's software development processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and maintain software development methodologies, ensuring alignment with company values and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Manage complex software development projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve software development processes and solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
