Essential Equipment Technician

As an Essential Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of medical equipment in our hospital's clinical departments and external facilities. This critical role involves maintaining, assembling, inspecting, wrapping, and sterilizing surgical instruments to meet high-quality standards.

To excel in this position, you must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills. You should also be able to work efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines while maintaining a customer-oriented attitude both internally and externally.

The successful candidate will ensure consistency and continuous workflow between various operating theater areas, upholding exceptional customer service and operational standards. A "can-do" attitude, good work ethic, and commitment to continual improvement are essential qualities for this role.

Requirements

  • Experience as an equipment technician or similar role
  • Qualifications in Sterilising Services or relevant field
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Commitment to customer service and high-quality outcomes
