About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our close-knit team. As a key member of our design team, you will take ownership of the drafting process from preliminary design through to construction documentation.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced Draftsperson with a strong understanding of residential building codes and standards. You will work closely with internal teams and external consultants to ensure plans are accurate and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and Documentation: Prepare detailed working drawings and documentation for residential projects.
  • Plan Amendments: Amend and update plans based on client selections, variations, and regulatory feedback.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams and external consultants to ensure plans are accurate and compliant.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all documentation meets relevant building codes, council requirements, and developer guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience as a Draftsperson in residential construction.
  • Skills: Proficiency in ArchiCAD.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of residential building codes and standards.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment.
