Transformative Demand Management Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our demand management efforts.

This role will oversee the end-to-end demand management process, informing data requirements, collection, reporting, and key performance indicators.

A key aspect of this role is to provide strategic advice to directors on policy and frameworks for managing demand and prioritization of services across contracts.

The major accountabilities of this position are:

  • Develop and implement strategies to inform data requirements, data collection, reporting, and key performance indicators to enable accurate and timely demand management.
  • Collaborate with operational managers to manage performance, including the use of lead and lag indicators and identifying and responding to variation.
  • Monitor activity volumes and financial performance, creating cyclical reports providing relevant, insightful analytics relating to operational support teams, projects, and processes.
  • Provide expert advice to directors on policy and frameworks for managing demand and prioritization of services across contracts.
  • Manage the implementation of agreed policies and frameworks.
  • Ensure timely access to reports for directors and managers to implement changes and manage demand.
  • Develop and implement strategies to monitor and maintain program volumes.
  • Be responsive to clinical leadership to adjust caps based on clinical capacity and capability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and lead the implementation of change programs of work.
  • Deliver high-performing services in line with contractual requirements.

Requirements

Applicants should have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, experience in managing clinical and/or related teams delivering community-based services, and a strong understanding of the sector and environment.

Additionally, applicants should have experience in financial and resources management, budget building, change management, and project delivery. They should also possess an innovative mindset, demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and fostering development in others.

Applicants should have business intelligence to inform service decisions, vision to identify and initiate new opportunities, and the ability to build partnerships aligned to our values.

They should be able to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and be agile and responsive to new ways of working.
