Demand Management Lead

We are currently seeking a fixed term full time
**Demand Management**
**Lead** to join the team. This role will lead and manage end to end demand management across service delivery. You will inform the data requirements, data collection, reporting, and key performance indicators to enable demand management by the Service Delivery teams.

An important part to this role will be to provide advice to Directors on policy and frameworks for managing demand and prioritisation of services across contracts. The role will oversee and ensure that the demand management policies and frameworks are adhered to.

**Key responsibilities**

The major accountabilities of this position are:

- Inform the data requirements, data collection, reporting, and key performance indicators to enable demand management to be performed accurately and in a timely manner by the accountable operations and workforce functions.
- Work closely with operational managers on performance management, including the use of lead and lag indicators and identifying and responding to variation.
- Monitor activity volumes and financial performance.
- Create and develop cyclical reports which provide relevant, insightful analytics relating to operational support teams, projects and processes within the state. This may include the provision of external benchmark data and/or trends which impact operational effectiveness for the state
- Provide advice to Directors on policy and frameworks for managing demand and prioritisation of services across contracts and implement an agreed policy and framework.
- Manage implementation of the policy and framework.
- Ensure the Directors and Managers have timely access to reports to implement changes and manage demand.
- Will develop and implement strategies and mechanisms to monitor and maintain program volumes.
- Responsive to clinical leadership to adjust caps based on clinical capacity and capability
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and ability to lead implementation of change programs of work
- Delivery of high performing services in line with contractual requirements.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline desirable.
- Experience in managing clinical and/or related teams delivering community-based services.
- Strong understanding of the sector and environment. Demonstrated strong and effective relationships across networks.
- Experience in financial and resources management and budget building.
- Experience in change management and delivering of projects
- Innovative mindset that delivers new business models.
- Demonstrated leadership and characteristics of mentoring and fostering development in others.
- Experience managing and resolving client issues.
- Business intelligence to inform service decisions.
- Vision to identify and initiate new opportunities and build partnerships aligned to our values and, this may include strategic partnerships and new contracts.
- Working collaboratively and cooperatively.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with diverse people and teams.
- Ability to be agile and responsive to new ways of working.
- Ability to negotiate and manage political sensitive issues.
