Student Futures Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to provide guidance and support to students in their educational and career aspirations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Career Counselling: Provide one-on-one counselling and careers advising to students, preferably in a youth or educational setting.
  • Communication Skills: Maintain high levels of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Initiative and Innovation: Demonstrate initiative and innovation in planning and prioritizing work.
  • Potential Realization: Show a passion for helping young people realize their potential.
  • Professional Development: Prioritize ongoing learning to stay on top of changing trends in education and the workforce.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a school careers department.
  • Program Facilitation: Experience with work experience program facilitation and delivery.
  • Certificate IV: Certificate IV or Graduate Certificate in Career Education and Development.
