Deputy Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Program Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute towards the overall business aims by supporting the Program Manager and ensuring programming alignment to our strategic and operational objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver results against aggressive schedules in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Assist in managing schedules, budgets, and documentation for launch vehicle activities throughout the entire product development and operations lifecycle.
  • Manage and continually evaluate launch vehicle development, production, and operations costs.
  • Communicate and support launch vehicle objectives and key results, ensuring appropriate assignment of resources.
  • Monitor the progress of external product development and associated activities to ensure risks and issues are managed in a timely manner.
  • Support regular review meetings with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate and communicate status, risks, and issues.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting as required by the Program Manager.
  • Continually identify improvement opportunities for processes, safety, cost effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or similar discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management.
  • Exceptional work ethic, initiative, attention to detail, and ability to obtain and retain new information.
  • Demonstrated resilience and ability to work well in a safety-critical, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working well with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Project or equivalent project management software.
