Job Summary

Macmahon is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of our underground operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective supervision to the plant maintenance crews, ensuring the delivery of safety, leadership, plant service, and cost requirements.

About the Role

This is a FIFO position from Perth, with an 8:6:7:7 roster. The attractive remuneration package includes a range of benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise maintenance personnel and subcontractors during the shift
  • Undertake informal individual feedback reviews with direct reports on each roster
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities leading to safer workplaces, increased productivity, and increased efficiencies
  • Ensure there is an understanding of and work within the project budget and forecast

About You

The ideal candidate will have relevant trade qualifications, extensive knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment and underground ancillary plant, and detailed knowledge of mining and safety regulations. They will also possess mechanical knowledge, supervisory management skills, and not less than five years of trade experience as a tradesperson.
