Role Summary

As a seasoned professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality customer-centered care for veterans and their families.

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional advocate with a proven track record of delivering outstanding results in claim preparation, submission, and follow-up.

You will work closely with external stakeholders to provide top-notch support services that meet the unique needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exceed expectations through excellent service, consultation, and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrate empathy and flexibility in all actions
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, related services, and agencies associated with defence entitlements
  • Participate in projects aligned with strategic/operational plans and adapt to change
  • Take responsibility for delivering work outcomes associated with claim preparation, submission, and follow-up
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Compensation Advocate Level 3 or working towards certification
  • Working knowledge of defence entitlements under relevant legislation and Veteran's Review Board policies and practices
  • Completion of or willingness to complete relevant courses
  • Understanding of defence-related illnesses and conditions
  • Ability to establish and build meaningful relationships internally and externally
  • Highly developed communication skills and ability to prioritise, manage, and problem solve
