Lead Group is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to oversee the company's financial data and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Construction and be able to maintain accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.

The role involves performing daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter AP and AR Invoices promptly
  • Assist with the recording of multiple companies' ATO compliance and liaising with external accountants Cashflow forecasting
  • Assist with the management of the company's cash flow
  • Perform EOM Processes and reconciliations on time and be responsible for the integrity of the data
  • Assist with the related parties' journals and transaction recording
  • Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to management
  • Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Maintain records of financial transactions for multiple entities in different accounting systems
  • Prepare reconciliation between Procore and Accounting Systems every month
  • Check Subcontractor's Insurance before processing invoices payments
  • Financial Reporting: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • 4 years' experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll and payroll reports
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred
  • Excellent oral and writing communication skills
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards
  • Familiarity with Procore
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
