Occupational Therapist - Paediatric Clinic Role

Join a multidisciplinary team of dedicated professionals passionate about transforming the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

This clinic-based role provides therapy services tailored to children aged 3-12 years, specializing in ASD. You will deliver individual and group therapy programs focusing on developmental and emotional well-being.

The purpose-built facility features a sensory room equipped with swings, hammocks, and other resources designed to foster play and desensitization in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments and interventions to support children's development in areas such as fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, cognitive skills, social development, and self-care routines.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional therapy outcomes.
  • Support paediatric clients, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorders, using innovative therapeutic techniques.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • AHPRA registration.
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
