About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Educator to lead our team at Goodstart Burpengary Buckley Road.

Job Summary

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs, observing, informing, and continuously improving our teaching practices. You will take charge of your own room, collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to ensure every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.

  • Goodstart Burpengary Buckley Road is a 75 place centre made up of five spacious rooms that provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can build a sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Educators to deliver high-quality educational programs.
  • Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve teaching practices.
  • Take charge of your own room and ensure every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with families to ensure open communication and a collaborative approach to education.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
