Apprentice Employment Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and eager individual to join our team in managing a caseload of Apprentices and Host Business Partners from commencement through to completion.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly motivated to support and develop Apprentices and Trainees. You will work closely alongside Apprentices and their host employers to ensure they are supported and guided through their journey.

  • Provide quality management, training and mentoring of our apprentices and trainees to facilitate a superior working relationship.
  • Deliver a superior service to clients including delivering on promises within appropriate timeframes.
  • Ensure ARU Apprentices are accounted for and have a voice in terms of safety and wages.
  • Maintain and increase case loads (KPI's) of Partner Organisation and Apprentices to execute the ARU vision for growth.
  • Be committed towards Apprentices and their completion through ongoing monitoring of on and off the job training, including performance counselling and mentoring when required.
  • Maintain the employee and client management system.
  • Manage Host vacancies.
  • Support and attend career expos.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to promote services and presence.
  • Work closely with the BDM team to assist in growing business.
  • Work closely with the HR & WHS manager to ensure all safety and legal requirements are met so that Apprentice's safety and well-being is protected.
What You Will Bring to Our Team
  • Knowledge of the Australian Apprenticeship system (highly desirable but not essential).
  • Knowledge of the Automotive Industry (highly desirable but not essential).
  • Apprentice mentoring experience (highly regarded).
  • High level of oral and written communication skills.
  • Initiative and drive.
  • Strong relationship building/business development and presentation skills.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • High level attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Relationship management.
  • Cert IV in Business - or willing to undertake as part of your role.
