About the Role

The Maintenance Asset Controller is a key position within the Airbus maintenance organization, responsible for ensuring the availability and reliability of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Support and Test Equipment (S&TE).

Reporting to the Team Lead Warehouse & Material Management, you will work closely with the S&TE – GSE Technical Lead to develop and implement maintenance schedules for GSE and S&TE, ensuring equipment is available to support aircraft maintenance activities.

This role involves:

  • Developing and implementing maintenance schedules for GSE and S&TE;
  • Maintaining accurate records of GSE and S&TE status and providing regular reports to the maintenance management team;
  • Performing periodic stocktakes of GSE and S&TE;
  • Coordinating scheduled maintenance of GSE and S&TE, including procurement and disposal as required;
  • Maintaining effective relationships with vendors to ensure timely and efficient provision of maintenance and calibration services;
  • Collaborating with on-site vendors to support C-J maintenance activities;
  • Ensuring waste management compliance.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require strong organizational skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, and a solid understanding of Microsoft tools, including Access and spreadsheets.

You will need to be able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires:

  • A Class 'C' Open Driver's Licence;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Tools, including Access and spreadsheets;
  • The ability to understand and interpret technical compliance requirements in the aviation maintenance environment;
  • An understanding of the interdependencies between maintenance, support engineering, and supply chain in a logistics environment;
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
