About the Role

The Aviation Ground Support Equipment Controller is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and testing of aviation ground support equipment. This includes GSE and ST&E within the Airbus maintenance organization.

As a key member of the team, you will be reporting to the Team Lead Warehouse & Material Management and working closely with the S&TE – GSE Technical Lead.

  • Develop and implement GSE and ST&E maintenance schedules to ensure equipment availability for aircraft maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of GSE and ST&E, providing regular status reports to the maintenance management team.
  • Perform periodic stocktakes of GSE and ST&E inventory.
  • C coordinate scheduled maintenance activities, including procurement and disposal as required.
  • Build effective vendor relationships to ensure timely provision of maintenance services.
  • Coordinate on-site vendor access to support C-J maintenance activities.
  • Manage waste disposal processes.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, possess excellent relationship-building skills, and have strong verbal and written communication abilities. You should also be comfortable working under deadlines and contributing to a continuous improvement environment.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Class 'C' Open Drivers Licence
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft tools, including Access and spreadsheets
  • Ability to interpret technical compliance requirements
  • Understanding of interdependencies between maintenance, support engineering, and supply chain logistics
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GSE and ST&E
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
