Job Opportunity: Venue Manager

A dynamic and ambitious individual is sought to lead a team in a seasonal position with a growing organisation.

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Venue Manager to drive the delivery of exceptional customer experience at our facility. You will be fully accountable for the operational, financial and program deliverables of the Centre.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing the Centre's operations, maintaining a high-value relationship with our council partner, and implementing a high-value customer service proposition that addresses the needs of the client base.

You will also be responsible for leading and driving a high-performance community-minded culture through highly visible and hands-on leadership and team engagement.

Maintenance of facilities to approved standards in line with contract requirements is also an essential aspect of this role.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years' leadership experience.
  • Highly developed communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Experience in planning and execution of operational, financial and people plans to successful outcomes.
  • National Police Check.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Legal working rights in Australia.
  • Current CPR Certificate.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2).
Desirable
  • A great understanding of local government and processes.
  • Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
  • Pool Operations Certificate.
