Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Centre Technician to join our Adelaide facilities team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our data centre customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to data centre customers
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with data centre operations, including OH&S, security, and technical systems
  • Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure seamless integration of critical support systems, power monitoring, and rack locking
  • Assist with customer deliveries and equipment assembly as required
  • Mentor and support junior team members to ensure continuous improvement and professional development
  • Monitor critical systems through Building Management Systems and diagnose issues as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role in a colocation facility or data centre
  • Experience with test equipment, OTDR, and fibre optic installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Experience with Building Management Systems and critical system identification
