Culinary Team Member

Located in Perth, a well-known café is seeking a skilled chef to join their team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining the establishment's strong reputation by delivering exceptional cuisine to guests. This full-time role requires a commitment of at least 38 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring dishes are prepared and plated according to the café menu, working across different sections as needed.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and cleanliness at all times.
- Execute daily cleaning schedules to ensure compliance with council regulations.
- Ensure proper utilization of kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, grills, ovens, and gas stoves.
- Manage proper storage and organization of food products to maintain quality assurance.
- Monitor and log temperatures of cool rooms and refrigerators; organize raw ingredients appropriately.
- Provide training to cooks and kitchen staff as needed.
- Guide cooking techniques and advise on proper culinary procedures.
- Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply and will be prioritized.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a chef in a café setting.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to working a minimum of 38 hours per week.
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.
Competitive salary range of $76,000 AUD - $80,000 per year plus Superannuation.
