Job Title: Visual Merchandising Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Visual Merchandising Manager to drive the VM strategy and standards for our Australian Athleisure Brand as they continue their global expansion. As the ultimate Brand Ambassador, you will ensure visual standards meet our impeccable standards and ensure consistency, quality, and optimisation of the visual merchandising implementation in the network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the national strategy for Visual Merchandise, including in-store execution of marketing and special events
  • Align with the product, design, and merchandising teams to create in-store presentation guidelines and strategy from category placement to in-store signage hierarchy
  • Manage all in-store signage merchandising
  • Manage the retail activations strategy on all key moments in-store, including store events, community events, brand moments, and big moment call-outs
  • Manage the visual presentation for all new store openings
  • Attend all new store openings to manage the visual merchandising strategy
  • Manage visual presentations in each store through coaching Head Coaches
  • Manage VM budgets and spend across departments
  • Manage strong execution of creative campaigns through in-store displays and product presentation
  • Develop training initiatives to develop VM skills at regional and store level
  • Work with the Merchandising Team to create monthly window inspiration and outfits
Requirements
  • 7-10 years' experience in merchandising, visual display, styling in a multi-site capacity
  • Solid background within Visual Merchandise and implementation of creative direction, ideally within a retail environment
  • Tertiary qualification in Visual Merchandising &/or Retailing
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and coaching a team
  • Experience with local vendor sources for display supplies, hardware, props, furniture, flowers
  • Ability to work with a variety of people, present ideas and information to groups
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as visual merchandising tools including Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with window execution
