We are seeking a talented professional to join our team as a Data Engineer.

Job Description

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term role that involves developing and implementing automated processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data (ETL). The successful candidate will manage data warehouses to ensure they are accessible and perform optimally, set up systems to ensure data quality, undertake performance tuning and ETL processes, document data management processes and systems, analyze business requirements and project proposals related to data components, and provide technical consultation and expertise to IT and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a data professional and data engineer.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Current certifications in cloud computing fundamentals, data fundamentals, data engineering, and object-oriented programming.
  • Expertise in Python or Scala and SQL.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Organizational skills and comfort multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, bridging technical and business terminology.
