We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Strategist to support the implementation of a Portfolio Prioritization Framework and provide subject matter expertise to improve investment planning and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop practical prioritization tools using relevant frameworks and methodologies, facilitating workshops and briefings with authority and confidence.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across ISD to embed evidence-based and disciplined prioritization practices, drive results, and manage change.
  • Provide advice on infrastructure portfolio planning, including demand forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, and program balancing, leveraging strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advise senior executives and government stakeholders, building positive relationships and managing conflict.
Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges in a large organization.
  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills with the ability to build organizational capability by developing tools, templates, training, and guidance material.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Planning, Business, Economics or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience in government infrastructure investment planning or capital portfolio management.
