Renewable Energy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all onsite technical matters, including construction verification works, scheduling, monitoring, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also be responsible for assisting the construction department in coordinating efficient operation of a multi-discipline workforce, combining direct workforce, supplementary labour, and external subcontractors.
- Develop construction methodologies, programmes, and SWMS for given packages
- Lead the delivery of stage 2 excavation, ground support, and FRP works, coordinating with the wider project team
- Oversee the development and implementation of construction methods onsite in consultation with Senior Project Engineer and Construction Superintendent
- Daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and cost monitoring and reporting
- Procure permanent materials/subcontracts
- Ensure Site Engineers and subordinates are clear on their responsibilities, provide regular feedback, and develop team members for succession opportunities
- Manage short/medium construction planning for the works, including development of 6WLAH
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and key project personnel, ensuring buy-in to safety and quality strategies
- Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure safe delivery in accordance with time, budget, and quality requirements
