About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our construction team in designing and delivering one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world. As an underground senior project engineer, you will be responsible for managing and implementing a section of works to ensure timely completion, quality control, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procedures to achieve quality, safety, timely production, and compliance with regulations.

You will work closely with our commercial team to review subcontractor claims, assist with commercial letters to clients, and mentor junior engineers to further their technical knowledge. Additionally, you will develop 6 to 12-month look-ahead programs for planning and procurement, and ensure the development of detailed programs for day-to-day activities.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or similar discipline
