Electrical Engineering Role

The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of leading industry players.

Snowy 2.0 is a landmark renewable energy project in Australia, providing on-demand energy and large-scale storage for generations to come.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.

This includes ensuring the successful delivery of the project within constraints for time, cost, quality, safety, environment, and community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Comprehending contracts and demonstrating commercial awareness
  • Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form
  • Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance
  • Compiling QA documentation, including work packs, ITPs, method statements, and construction verification
  • Providing technical input into projects at various stages
  • Undertaking feasibility and concept level electrical designs for renewable projects

Requirements include a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, and a White Card. A minimum of 5 years' experience working in Construction in a similar role is preferred.

Key qualifications include strong communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and proficiency in MS Office and CAD software.
