Empower the Aboriginal community towards a better future by delivering alcohol and other drug programs holistically, aligned with primary health care principles and goals. Our objective is to provide support to Aboriginal clients with drug and alcohol dependence issues, promoting a client-focused holistic approach when engaging with clients affected by alcohol and other drug use issues.

The Role:
  • Provide support to Aboriginal clients with drug and alcohol dependence issues
  • Promote a client-centered approach when engaging with clients affected by alcohol and other drug use issues
  • Empower clients by facilitating approaches to and participation in, alcohol and other drugs programs and services
  • Assist with reducing the level of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug usage in the local Aboriginal community

Key aspects of this position include team care planning for SEWB clients, providing outreach support & working in partnership with clients to reach identified goals, and planning and facilitating Education and Health promotion programs.
