Job Opportunity:

Azure DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

  • Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines for .Net migration.
  • Transition existing systems to Linux containers as part of modernization.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams for seamless integration and deployment.
  • Monitor and optimize CI/CD pipeline performance and containerized environments.
  • Implement best practices for CI/CD and containerization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a DevOps role with focus on CI/CD and containerization.
  • Strong knowledge of .Net technologies and Linux containers.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Jenkins: Configure a new instance from scratch, basic troubleshooting, creating new jobs, and understanding plugins.
  • PowerShell: Knowledge of PowerShell scripts, functions, modules, error handling, debugging, and task scheduling.
  • Docker: Understanding Docker architecture, writing and optimizing Docker files, managing Docker images, and handling environment variables and secrets inside containers.
  • Git: Knowledge of repo structure, branching strategy, Git hooks, merge strategy, and debugging Git issues.
  • Azure Cloud: PowerShell automation for Azure, knowledge of infrastructure resources like Vnet, Subnets, Load Balancers, and Azure Monitoring & Logging.
  • Terraform: Understanding Terraform fundamentals, modules, variables, outputs, and secret management.
  • Linux: Proficiency in Red Hat shell commands for common system admin tasks and familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker on Linux.

Nice to Have:

  • Harness CI and CD: Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment using Harness.
  • Kubernetes (K8S): Knowledge of pods, deployments, services, and namespaces. Experience in deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes.
