Job Title: Construction Manager

As a seasoned professional in construction and building management, we are seeking a skilled individual to lead our team of experts in delivering high-quality projects across South Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced construction manager to join our company and take on the challenge of overseeing small, medium, and large-scale domestic and commercial insurance reinstatement projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the successful delivery of projects from commencement to completion.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project goals.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress and performance.

Occasional travel and overtime may be required. We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual with excellent communication and leadership skills who can work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications:

Supervisors License highly desirable.

White card.

Drivers License, WWC, and Induction Card.

First Aid Certificate.

Certificate IV in Construction (highly desirable).

Professional Skills:

3+ years experience in construction/building supervision.

Clear knowledge of NCC and Waterproofing.

AS3740.

Experience working directly with stakeholders.

Thorough understanding of the construction process, critical inspection points, permits, and WHS requirements.

Estimation skills (desirable).

Trade qualified with a minimum of 3 years' experience working on construction sites.

Attributes:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Fantastic interpersonal skills.

Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Office MS Project, and Excel programs.
