Contract Administrator Opportunity

  • Seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to manage the administration of construction projects.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  1. Draft, review and manage subcontracts, purchase orders and consultant agreements ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Lead procurement activities including issuing RFQs, analyzing tenders and conducting negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
  3. Monitor and update budgets, forecasts, cost reports and cash flow statements in collaboration with project teams.
  4. Handle contract administration including variations, progress claims, EOTs and other related correspondence with stakeholders.
  5. Work closely with site and project teams to ensure timely contract execution and compliance with project requirements.
  6. Maintain accurate project documentation and support final project handover and close-out procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Contract Administrator role within the construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodology, contract administration and cost management principles.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Capable of managing competing priorities in a high-paced project environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with industry tools such as Procore or Cheops.
