Job Title: Drug and Alcohol Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Drug and Alcohol Specialist to provide assessment, case management, referral services, and therapeutic interventions to individuals in challenging environments.

  • Deliver comprehensive drug and alcohol services
  • Provide individualised support and guidance
  • Facilitate group sessions on diverse recovery topics
  • Support the team in provision of D&A services

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in drug and alcohol counselling to expand their skills and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

- Possession of relevant tertiary qualifications in counselling, social welfare, education, or related disciplines

- Proven clinical experience in drug and alcohol assessment and intervention

- Ability to provide coordination and management of complex cases

- Accreditation as a SMART Recovery facilitator or willingness to obtain

- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or First Aid Certificate
