Metro Delivery Logistics Coordinator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a logistics coordinator to manage allocations, route planning, and dispatching metro deliveries for one of Australia's largest supermarket chains.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a supportive team that values reliability and efficiency, and we are looking for someone who can make a real impact in this stable role.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements
- Ensure regular communication with customers about their scheduled deliveries or any changes
- Commit to Safety Standards and COR requirements, including daily compliance tasks
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in transport load planning, driver or fleet allocation (not essential)
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, preferably with experience using TMS
- Strong geographical knowledge of Brisbane metro
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, remaining organized and efficient
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
