Chief Executive Officer

Cochrane's, a leading express parcel and transport service provider in South Australia, is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to drive their strategic direction and foster growth. The Role

Reporting to the Chairman and Board, the successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the company's strategic goals, collaborating closely with the Directors and Executive leadership team to ensure sustained levels of growth, financial stability, and operational efficiency.

  • Develop and execute the company's strategic vision and plan.
  • Lead the senior leadership team and provide guidance to key stakeholders, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
  • Manage and perform the organisation with clear accountability based on financial reporting and budgeting, including analysis and cost management.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and industry partners.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and dynamic organisational culture.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, foster innovation, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide confident, hands-on leadership, building high-performing and accountable teams.
Key Requirements
  • Extensive commercial experience at the CEO level, demonstrating excellence in guiding the operations and resources of a company of a similar size.
  • Well-developed commercial and financial acumen, combined with a growth mindset and previous experience leading transformational change.
  • A strong understanding of financial management, operational leadership, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate strategic vision into operational frameworks.
  • Hands-on leadership style, coupled with outstanding interpersonal skills, with an ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex business landscapes and drive continuous improvement.
