Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive facilities manager to join our property team.

This role ensures the effective operational management of buildings and facilities, creating safe, compliant, and efficient environments that support our agencies and communities.

The facilities manager oversees a broad range of responsibilities, including condition audits, maintenance coordination, asset register updates, contractor engagement, and statutory compliance monitoring.

The role also supports capital and maintenance project delivery, tendering, and funding recommendations.

As the main point of contact for facilities matters, the facilities manager works closely with staff, tenants, contractors, and consultants to ensure service quality and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strong, detailed knowledge and demonstrated experience in building operations, and facilities and asset maintenance
  • Demonstrated experience in a facilities management role
  • Demonstrated understanding of general building and facilities services and related trades
  • Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work to a flexible time schedule when required
  • Proficiency in Computerised Building Management Systems

The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in facilities management or a relevant discipline, as well as a current motor vehicle license.

Able to work in a dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
