**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Chief Engineer to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our hotel. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation. You will also work closely with the General Manager and Financial Controller to manage contractors and control expenditure.

To succeed in this position, you should possess a trade qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering, preferably with 2 years of experience managing a maintenance function in a large multi-storey complex. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office and Property Management System is essential.
