Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our Narangba depot. You will lead a team of Process Operators to ensure safe and efficient operations.


The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate completion of all records and paperwork as per Cleanaway policies and procedures
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures including Absolutes and Lifesaving rules and report any unsafe practices or incidents
  • Supervise and assist in the training of Process Operators at various levels
  • Prepare and document waste products for removal from site
  • Load and unload packaged waste vehicles
  • Decant, clean, repackage, store, and dispose of packaged waste
  • Sample and treat packaged waste as required or directed
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor
  • A current Forklift license with at least 12 months of experience
  • Excavator and Loader tickets (highly advantageous)
  • A valid driver's license Class C
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A zero-harm safety mindset
  • A good attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical examination, including a drug and alcohol test
