Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven professional to support our global shareholders and board members as a Corporate Governance Specialist. This full-time opportunity will see you working as an integral member of the Secretariat Team based in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending to filings with ASIC and other government regulators
  • Maintenance of electronic corporate records for each subsidiary (Computershare database)
  • Ensuring all company and individual (where required) architecture, security and design practitioner licenses remain current and license records are updated in GRC in timely manner
  • Assistance with drafting board/shareholder minutes and preparing board packs
  • Liaising with notary publics, embassies and DFAT to support overseas document legalization
  • Providing information to GHD teams for proposals/tenders/bids
  • Attending to external audit requests
  • General support to Company Secretary and Assistant Company Secretary – APAC including monitoring Secretariat inbox, updating intranet page and general filing

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • With basic to intermediate understanding of Company Secretariat processes preferred
  • Proven experience in clearly conveying and explaining regulations, policies, processes, and guidelines to diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks and documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and perform well under pressure while meeting deadlines
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat, with a strong capability to utilize these tools effectively
  • Proven aptitude for coordinating tasks and understanding when to escalate issues appropriately
