About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Flinders Medical Centre. In this ongoing role, you will provide direct person-centred nursing care to patients in a defined clinical area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring safe and effective outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient safety and risk minimisation.
  • Support and guide less experienced staff, promoting a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Deliver health promotion and education to patients, carers, and groups, improving health outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a current practicing certificate.
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality care consistent with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
