Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Publicity Coordinator to join our team in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the National Publicity team with publicity breaks for each film, including local interviews, syndications, and image requirements as directed.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with media outlets, talent agencies, and influencers to ensure efficient communication and maximum coverage for theatrical releases and events.
  • Track and report on editorial coverage for theatrical releases and asset launches.
  • Coordinate national screening programs, including targeted word-of-mouth campaigns, reviewer/media screenings, and Influencer/VIP screenings.
  • Manage SAP functions, including purchase orders, goods receipting, and client payments.
  • Prepare campaign reports and coordinate local talent tours, media junkets, and events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent administration and communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Interpersonal skills - internal and external clients.
  • Excellent IT skills - MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint essential.
  • Experience in PR and/or Co-ordinator position for 1 year plus.
  • Exposure to working in a media/entertainment business.
  • Ideal Marketing or Communications tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of local & international media landscape.
  • SAP experience desirable.
