Job Title: Media Communications Specialist

Description:

The Supreme Court of NSW seeks a skilled Media Communications Specialist to oversee all media matters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in communications, public relations, and/or the legal industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement best practice communication strategies
  • Increase public and media awareness of the court's functions
  • Be the principal point of contact for all media matters
  • Evaluate and enhance media relationships with stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on media interactions

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in media communications, preferably in a judicial setting
  • Strong understanding of relevant legal legislation and policies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
