About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Local Area Coordinator to join our team at Feros Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting people with disability to access and navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support people with disability to develop individualised plans that promote their strengths, skills, and interests
  • Guide and assist people with disability to build capacity and explore options for self-direction, self-management, and self-advocacy
  • Provide information and support to people with disability and their families to access mainstream services and participate in the community
  • Build and maintain positive partnerships within the community to refer participants to a diverse range of services
