About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Local Area Coordinator to join our team at Feros Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting people with disability to access and navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support people with a disability to develop a goal-based, individualised plan that aligns with their strengths, skills, and interests.
  • Guide and assist people with a disability to build capacity and explore options for self-direction, self-management, and self-advocacy.
  • Provide people with a disability and their families with information and support to access mainstream services and participate in the community.
  • Build and maintain positive partnerships within the wider community to refer participants to a diverse range of community and other government services.
  • Develop strong community partnerships that support capacity building to make communities more accessible and inclusive.
