At Calvary, we are seeking a highly skilled Pastoral Care Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for identifying and responding to the diverse spiritual needs of our residents, families and staff.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the wellbeing of people living in residential aged care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide spiritual care support to residents according to triage priorities
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
We welcome applications from experienced practitioners as well as those early in their career looking to start or continue their journey in pastoral care. Support to complete clinical pastoral care training is available for supervised practitioners.
What You Bring- A tertiary qualification in pastoral care, spiritual direction, counselling or similar
- Clinical Pastoral Education and/or equivalent experience working in a similar role in aged care, health care or community care
- Eligibility for membership with a professional body
