Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled data engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a world-class data platform. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the technical direction of a core platform and help establish a high-performing technical culture.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend or data engineering, with experience in designing, developing, and optimizing resilient data pipelines using tools like Databricks, dbt, Python, and SQL. They will be responsible for building a high-performing, scalable, and easily maintainable data pipeline from scratch in Azure, focusing on near real-time streaming and high accuracy.

  • Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and optimize resilient data pipelines using various tools and technologies.
  • Data Modeling: Develop and manage data models and ETL/ELT workflows to ensure data accessibility, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Platform Improvement: Refactor and improve existing data services, addressing critical performance and scalability challenges to support analytics and AI capabilities.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in backend or data engineering, with a proven track record of shipping reliable and scalable solutions.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Python (including Pandas) and advanced SQL.
  • Proven experience architecting and building data platforms in a cloud environment (preferably Azure) using tools like Databricks and dbt or similar.
