About the Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Trade Centre in a permanent full-time capacity. The store operates six days a week, and it would be advantageous if you are available to work some rostered Saturday mornings. This fast-paced and hands-on role will see you:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strong working relationships with suppliers and agencies
  • Ensure high levels of customer service are consistently maintained
  • Cash handling and EFTPOS transactions
  • Accurately mix and tint paint
  • Assist in maintaining stock levels
  • Comply with safety standards

Requirements and Skills

You are confident with people, possess excellent communication skills, and can easily build strong relationships with peers, customers, and clients. You're able to demonstrate a level of physical ability to work with our paint and other heavy products in store at times. In addition, you will:

  • Possess an interest in our products
  • Retail/Trade sales and management experience would be desirable but not essential
  • Paint product and application/hardware experience will be highly regarded but not essential
  • Have the ability to communicate clearly with customers
  • Enjoy building relationships with customers and colleagues
