Key Leadership Role in Treasury

This is a pivotal leadership position responsible for driving operational efficiency through strategic use of the Treasury Management System.

The successful candidate will have expertise in treasury systems, data analysis, and modelling, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights that elevate commercial performance.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead the accounting function in delivering insights and pre-transaction support across treasury initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within feasible timeframes and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Apply technical knowledge and critical thinking to identify opportunities for automation and enhanced use of data and AI within treasury operations.
  • Manage month-end close activities including P&L and balance sheet management, manual adjustments, and reporting pack preparation, ensuring high-quality outputs that help stakeholders understand financial performance drivers.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide timely and accurate accounting analysis and advice, clearly communicating the impact of accounting policies, risks, and opportunities.
  • Champion best practices and a continuous improvement mindset across treasury processes, with a focus on automation and operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting or similar discipline.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Treasury experience, with a focus on system change and implementation.
  • Knowledge of treasury management systems and related applications.
  • Advanced Excel or other data visualisation or analytics tool / financial modelling skills.
