About the Role
Victoria University is looking for talented individuals to join our team as Sessional Academics. This is an exciting opportunity to teach and mentor students in a dynamic and supportive environment.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about education, have excellent communication skills, and can work effectively with colleagues and students. As a Sessional Academic, you will have the opportunity to teach within our First Year College, contributing to the development of our Bachelor of Education Studies and Bachelor of Early Childhood Education degrees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach within VU First Year College and contribute to teaching into the Bachelor of Education Studies and Bachelor of Early Childhood Education degrees.
- Engage in the VU Block Model (one unit at a time) enabling small-group teaching and close student interaction.
- Deliver four-week teaching blocks (typical schedule: 3 hours per day, 3 days a week).
