About the Opportunity
The role of an Academic Facilitator is a part-time, fixed-term position that involves supporting learners and enhancing their learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to students to complete tasks and facilitate understanding of learning materials and concepts
- Follow up with students to encourage ongoing engagement and motivate them to complete their tasks and activities
- Support Trainers/Assessors in meeting compliance requirements, including documentation
- Maintain a professional image and positive attitude in representing the organisation
- Perform other duties as directed by the RTO Manager
Requirements:
- CHC40213 Certificate IV in Education Support or CHC40221 - Certificate IV in School Based Education Support
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain ideas clearly and concisely
- Commitment to supporting learning in an adult environment and demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage students
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and provide quality customer service
- Skills in using relevant information and communication technologies
